Journey To Friendsville
Board games are a wonderful way to teach social skills, but many counselors don’t have the time to play a traditional board game with their clients. This board game teaches social skills in 15 minute increments through a fun journey towards making rewarding friendships. Each time the game is played a different deck is used, and each deck teaches a different social skill such as peace making, having a positive attitude, and treating others fairly. Players win when they populate Friendsville with good friends, but they have to watch out that they don’t break social rules and end up in Zombieville. A Social Skills Checklist makes it easy for counselors to keep track of a child’s progress.
